"While some bird species I have never seen here in Europe, there are others that are the same both here and there. The swallows for example or the laughing gulls. They spend the winters in flocks along the Rhine in Basel and remind me here that summertime is slowly coming to an end.
I like how the laughing gulls fly along the beach here just a few feet above the waves. Further companions of long walks along the water."
